Inventory has five tabs: Stock, Catalog, Open Units, Near Expiry and Movements. Stock goes up when you receive, down when you sell, and every other change is an adjustment with a reason.
Why it matters
Inventory is where a grocery store's money sits. Knowing what you have, what it cost, what is running out and what is about to expire is the difference between reordering by feel and reordering by fact.
Stock tab
- Totals at the top: Total SKUs, Low stock, Out of stock, Near expiry and Stock value (at cost).
- Search by product, SKU or barcode; filter by category; show only low-stock items.
- Adjust a product's quantity with a Reason: Waste, Expired, Delivery, Correction, Manual Adjustment or Physical Count. Negative numbers remove stock.
- Physical Count: type the real quantity for each product, review the variance report (red is short, green is over) and Submit Count. Stock is corrected in one go.
- Export CSV of the current list.
- Quick links to Receive shipment, Purchase orders and Catalog.
Catalog tab
Products, categories (up to three levels), brands, and the product detail with photo, barcode, SKU, pack weight, package links and suppliers. See Add your products.
Open Units tab
For products with Units per package: Open a new unit when you break a case, see how many pieces remain, Correct count after a recount, or Void a damaged box with a reason.
Movements tab
Every stock change in one list — sales, refunds, deliveries, adjustments and counts — with date, change, reason and who did it. Filter by reason to answer "where did those ten bags go?".
