The language follows your account, not the computer: sign in on any terminal and you get your language. Receipts and PDFs follow it too.
Before you start
- You are signed in.
- For someone else’s language: you are an admin.
Steps
- Tap Settings in the sidebar. The Language tab opens first.
- Under Interface language, pick Español (México) or English (US).
- Tap Save Language. The whole app switches at once and shows Language updated.
- For another person (admin only): tap Staff, then Change language on their row, pick the language and save.
Check it worked
- Menus, buttons and messages are in the new language without restarting.
- On Staff, the Language column for that person shows the new value.
If something goes wrong
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The Settings tile shows a lock and asks for a PIN | Cashiers and managers need an admin to enter their PIN to open Settings, or ask the admin to change your language from Staff → Change language. |
| Couldn’t update language. Try again. | Check the connection and tap Save Language again. |
| The receipt prints in the other language | Receipts use the language of the cashier who charged the sale. |
