The app protects your end-of-day numbers. It will not let you close the register while a sale is still waiting for payment. The app calls an unpaid sale a tab.
Steps
- Open Staff, tap Open Caja, type the Opening Cash, and tap Open Caja.
- Later, with a sale still unpaid, tap Close Caja.
- Type your count in Closing Cash Count and tap Close Caja.
- The app shows this message: Cannot close caja — there are open tabs. Close all tabs first. The register stays open.
How to fix it
- Open Payments.
- Look under Tabs Awaiting Payment.
- Take payment for each sale on the list. See Take payment from the Payments page.
- Go back to Staff and tap Close Caja again.
