For rice, dals, spices or anything sold by the kilo. Run it for every weighed item in the cart; the app multiplies weight by the per-kilo price.
Before you start
- The product is set up as sold by weight (its details show Sold by weight (kg)).
- Your scale shows kilograms with decimals.
Steps
- Put the product on the scale and read the weight.
- On Checkout, search the product by name or scan its barcode and tap it.
- In Enter weight, type the kilograms in Weight (kg). Check the helper line Weight × price shows the expected total.
- Tap Add to cart.
- If the customer adds or removes some, tap Edit next to Weight: on the cart line, correct the number and tap Save weight.
- Continue the sale and tap Process payment.
Check it worked
- The cart line shows Weight: X kg and the line total matches weight × price.
- The receipt shows the weighed quantity, not a count of 1.
If something goes wrong

| The Enter weight window does not open | The product is set up as sold by piece. Sell it by piece for now; to switch it to sold by weight, contact support via WhatsApp (see the Contact section of our site). |
| The customer wants 250 grams | Type the weight in kilograms: 250 g is 0.25 in Weight (kg). |
| You typed the wrong weight and already added it | Tap Edit on the cart line and fix it. If you already charged, see Fix a paid sale. |
