Pressing Process payment opens the payment screen. Pick a method, confirm, and the receipt is ready. Everything that happened after the sale — refunds, reprints, corrections — lives on the Payments screen.
Payment methods
- Cash. Type the Amount tendered or tap a quick amount (Exact or a round bill). An on-screen keypad is there for touch screens. The app shows the Change due and pops the drawer.
- Terminal (card). Charge the card on your bank's terminal, then press Confirm card payment. You can note the reference or authorization code.
- Bank transfer. The app shows a Reference Code. The customer puts it in the numeric reference of their transfer. The sale is recorded as pending; a manager confirms it later in Payments → Bank Transfers by entering the code, or disputes it with a reason.
- Rappi and Uber Eats for orders that arrive through those apps.
- Split payment. Turn it on and divide the total across up to four methods. The app shows what remains to pay.
- Which methods appear, and what the buttons say, is set by the admin in Settings → Billing.
Discounts at the counter
A manager can apply a Discount to the whole sale as a percent or a fixed amount. If a discount would sell below cost, the app says so and asks for a manager PIN before continuing. Scheduled discounts and combos are separate — see Promotions and combos.
Refunds
- Open Payments, find the sale (filter by method or by day), and press Refund.
- Pick the items and quantities. Choose Restock if the product goes back on the shelf.
- Choose a Reason (wrong order, quality issue, customer complaint, billing error, other) and press Request approval. A manager enters their PIN.
- Every refund is listed under Payments → Refunds with the reason and who approved it.
Fixing a paid ticket
- Edit ticket corrects items, quantities or notes on a paid sale. A reason is required and the change is recorded in Edit History. If the total changes, the difference is recorded against the caja.
- Reopen ticket voids the original payment and opens the sale again so you can change it and charge it correctly. Manager approval is required, and there is a limit on how often and how long after the sale a ticket can be reopened.
- Reprint prints the receipt again.
