Install
- Open the installer your provider sent you on the Windows PC you will use at the counter.
- Follow the installer. When it finishes, open the point of sale from the Start menu or the desktop icon.
- Make sure the PC is connected to the internet before the next step.
Activate or start the trial
The first screen is License activation. You have two options.
- Have a key? Type it in License key and press Activate. The app confirms your store name and plan.
- Want to try first? Press Try it free for 14 days. The trial takes a moment to prepare. Some advanced features stay locked in the trial and show a lock icon.
Sign in for the first time
- On the sign-in screen, pick your name under Who are you?.
- Type your PIN. In the trial, the sign-in screen lists demo accounts you can use. On a full license, your provider gives you the first admin account.
- If the app shows Set a new PIN, choose a new PIN of 4 to 6 digits and confirm it. This happens the first time you sign in with a PIN someone else created for you.
- Enter your Opening cash (the cash you start the drawer with; zero is fine if you have not counted yet) and press Start shift.
Updates
When a new version is ready the app shows Update Available. Press Install Now, then Restart Now. You can also check from Settings → License → Check for updates.
