Read this the moment the orange bar appears at the top of the screen. Charging a sale needs a connection; most screens keep working on the data already loaded.
Before you start
- You can see the bar Offline — running on cached data at the top.
- Someone can check the router or the phone hotspot.
Steps
- Keep serving: you can still search products, scan, build a cart and use Hold. Prices shown are the last ones loaded.
- Do not try to charge. Process payment shows You’re offline with Checkout needs a connection. Reconnect and try again. Hold the cart instead.
- Check the connection: router lights, cable, or switch the computer to a phone hotspot.
- Wait for the bar to turn green with All actions synced. It disappears after a few seconds.
- Tap Resume on the held sale and charge it. Repeat for every held customer.
- Do not upload photos or logos while offline; the app refuses with Offline — … Reconnect and try again.
Check it worked
- The sidebar status shows Online and the orange bar is gone.
- The first sale after reconnecting completes with Sale complete and prints.
If something goes wrong
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The bar stays orange for a long time | The problem is your internet, not the app. Use a phone hotspot to finish the queue, and call your provider. |
| A sale was charged just as the connection dropped | Check Payments → Recent Payments after reconnecting. If it is not there, charge it again; if it is, do not. |
| A message says the license could not be verified | The app keeps working for a period without internet. Reconnect before the date shown to avoid a lock; if it locks, contact support via WhatsApp (see the Contact section of our site). |
| The connection is back but the app still says offline | Sign out and sign in again. If it persists, restart the app. |
