The supermarket edition of Bola 8 POS needs the internet to charge a sale. It is honest about it: the moment the connection drops, an orange bar at the top of the screen says Offline — running on cached data, and it turns green with All actions synced when you are back.
What still works offline
- Looking around: Home, the product grid, the cart, recent lists you already opened.
- Building a cart and holding it, so you can finish scanning while the connection comes back.
What waits for the connection
- Charging a sale. The payment screen says You're offline — Checkout needs a connection. Reconnect and try again.
- Uploading product photos or the store logo.
- Starting the free trial or activating a license.
