The app checks for updates when it starts and every few hours while it runs. Install at a quiet moment, not with a queue at the till.
Before you start
- No sale is in progress on this terminal (hold or finish it).
- The app is online.
Steps
- When Update Available appears, read What’s new. If customers are waiting, tap Remind Later.
- When ready, tap Install Now. The dialog shows Downloading Update with Please wait — do not close the app.
- When it says Ready to Restart, tap Restart Now (or Later to restart at closing time).
- After the restart, sign in again. Your register session and held sale are still there.
- To check by hand: tap Settings, then the License tab, and tap Check for updates. You will see You are on the latest version or the update dialog.
Check it worked
- Check for updates now says You are on the latest version.
- Sales, printing and scanning work as before.
If something goes wrong
| Problem | What to do |

| Update Failed with Could not download the update. Try again later. | Check the internet connection and use Check for updates again later. The current version keeps working. |
| Could not check for updates. Try again later. | The app is offline or the update source could not be reached. Try again once Online shows in the sidebar. |
| The message says regular updates have ended | Your plan’s update period is over. Contact support via WhatsApp (see the Contact section of our site) to renew. |
| Something looks wrong after the update | Restart the app once. If it persists, contact support with the version shown under Settings → License. |
